Rules/Guidelines:The race committee reminds each participant that you are a guest of the Lake City Elks Lodge #893. Please respect the private property of its citizens, as well as any and all parking regulations along all race areas. We will start canoe heats every 15 minutes, starting at 10:30 am and will finish whenever the heat in each class is finished. Your heat time will be announced before 10:30 am on the day of the event, after registration. 1. No food, drinks, or alcohol will be allowed in any canoe. 2. No animals will be allowed in any canoe. 3. A minimum age of 12 years with an adult in the canoe. 4. A minimum age of 14 years without an adult. 5. Coast Guard approved, over the shoulder, correctly sized lifejackets are to be worn at all times. All parties must sign a waiver before participating in the race.

Rules

We will start canoe heats every 15 minutes, starting at 8:00 am and will finish whenever the heat in the last class is finished.

Your Class and Heat time will be emailed to you no later than Friday, March 22, 2024

No food, drinks, or alcohol will be allowed in any canoe.

No animals will be allowed in any canoe.

A minimum age of 12 years with an adult in the canoe.

A Minimum age of 14 years without an adult.

Coast Guard approved, over the shoulder, correctly sized lifejackets are to be worn at all times.

All parties must sign a waiver before participating in the race.

 

Awards will be presented immediately following the race behind the Lake City Elks Lodge #893 Building. Top 3 in every class will be receiving an award.
